New Moon & Full Moon
The moon cycles from dark to fully lit about once a month, which indeed, is where the word month comes from. Working with this cycle of time in our lives with an understanding of the lunar tides can bring insights to the areas in our charts the moon moves through the same part of the sky.
Always in an exact conjunction with the Sun, the New Moon represents where we are clear and spacious and ready to invite new experiences. The Full Moon is always directly opposite the Sun in the sky and so reflects the full light back to us, even in the darkest nights. This is where we see the fullness of our goals and achievements and where we are ready to let go of what is no longer serving us.
